The Storm Sisters

They're half sisters but they're so close and look so much alike that everyone thinks that they're twins.

Lightning was originally a unicorn but after her sister lost her wings in an awful accident she spent months studying a spell that would allow them to magic ( by sharing a horn) so that thunder would still be able to do her job working the weather.
Lightning uses her magic to make beautiful and colorful lightning, going as far as to make shows for it, for others to enjoys.
Thunder has the uncanny ability of making some of the most powerful thunder booms around, lots of ponies know a thunder thunder booms when they hear it!
